Fresh, Carefully Selected Nutrition for Your Budgie
Designed to support the everyday health, energy and happiness of your budgie.
So, what makes this seed so special?
A healthy diet plays an important role in maintaining your budgie's long-term wellbeing. Budgies can be susceptible to fatty liver disease, particularly when their diet is too high in fat. Early cases may be manageable with appropriate dietary and veterinary care, while more advanced liver damage can be much more difficult to reverse.
That is why we believe choosing a naturally low-fat seed is an important part of providing your birds with a balanced diet.
Good Nutrition Starts With Good Seeds
We carefully select our seed from an Australian farm specifically for its low-fat content. Independent laboratory testing has confirmed a fat content of just 4.3%.
Being Australian-grown also means the seed is sourced locally, rather than being imported from overseas. This lets us offer you a fresh, locally grown product carefully selected for budgies.
And perhaps the best recommendation of all? The birds love it. You'll see how readily budgies accept our seed and how enthusiastically they enjoy it.
A balanced diet is the key
While good-quality seed is an important part of your budgie's diet, it should not be the only food they receive.
For a well-rounded diet, we recommend offering fresh vegetables every day, along with an additional protein source such as a hard-boiled egg or Just Budgies Protein Booster twice a week.
Combined with fresh water, appropriate treats and plenty of opportunity for exercise and activity, this provides your budgies with a varied and balanced diet designed to help them stay healthy, active and happy.
