There are times when your budgies will need special attention and possibly medical help or intervention and you may not have the experience to deal with this yourself. You will always have the option to take your budgie to an Avian Vet but they are not always easy to find and many vets who are not avian specialist do not have the experience to be able to do the best for your budgie. In these financially difficult times, cost of treatment may also be a factor stopping you from using an Avian Vet.
The care required may consist of convalescence following an injury, treatment of worms or mites, trimming of nails and beak, treatment for intestinal issues and ‘poop’ disorders, training services for budgies that bite or are not hand tame, wing feather trimming, partner matching (for budgies that have been left alone following the loss of their partner), training for behavioural issues etc.
